Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Sonder ("Service"), operated by Sonder Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Sonder lets customers query, test, and generate reports on audience data. Outputs are statistical estimates and simulated responses — not guarantees of real audience behaviour.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• One workspace may have multiple team members; the workspace owner is responsible for managing access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, identify, dox, or take adverse action against any individual represented in an audience segment.
• Attempt to re-identify individuals from segment-level outputs.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.
• Use the Service to build a competing product.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or datasets.
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any third party's rights.

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a subscription and/or metered-usage basis as described at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Data and outputs

You own the questions, briefs, and content you submit, and the reports generated for your workspace. We retain the underlying panel data and models. See our Privacy Policy for how source data is collected and processed.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Synthetic panel outputs are estimates based on modelling of publicly available data; they are not a substitute for market research, legal advice, or guaranteed predictions of real-world outcomes. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on Service outputs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, we'll retain your data per our standard retention schedule and delete it on request, subject to legal obligations.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
